The weekend of Valentines February 16, we decided to take a day trip to the beach. Nate was so good to me, he knows the beach is therapy to me and he sacrificed going on his weekly snowboarding trip to take me. Avila is a lovely quaint beach. The ocean sounds, the coastal air and the beautiful landscape was just what I needed. This was Maddie's second beach trip. She did such a good job in the car. We loved walking along the water and on the pier. All of us relaxed on a blanket in the sand. Maddie even fell asleep. On the way home we ate a delicious dinner in Pismo at McClintocks. I hope Maddie loves the beach like me.
