Albuquerque. We got a great deal on Priceline for a two night stay at the Marriot. Our hotel looked like a pyramid. It was very nice and fun. Our room was probably as big as our apartment. On Friday we went on the "Turquoise Trail". We drove from Albuquerque to Santa Fe.

Stop 1: Sandia

This stop was a little bit of a disappointment. The ruins were under the ground. All we could see was a dirt hill.

Stop 2: The top of the Mountain

It was beautiful and cold at the top. We saw snow!! It was so misty it was difficult to see the full view. Nate got very excited to go snowboarding!

On the way down we stopped and looked at the view. It was more clear and beautiful. We did see signs for cougars. Crazy!

Stop 3:

We saw a beautiful old church and some ruins of a home.

Stop 4:

This was a crazy old railroad town that artists took over. The street is now lined with artists little eclitic shops.

Stop 5: Cerrillos

This was my favorite stop. It was a tiny dirt road ghost town. It was full of character. We saw a beautiful old church, bars, smoke shops, tiny stores, and a petting zoo.

Stop 6: Santa Fe

We had a romantic dinner at a fun restaurant. We sat in a balcony looking over the town square, and ate delicious food while we listened to live music.
